February 23, 2018 Cowboy Open
This is a non-sanctioned, one-day event to celebrate the 5 newly renovated courts at the CRC. All courts now have back glass, one of which includes side wall glass.
Four divisions (male and female) are being offered: Expert, Advanced, Intermediate, and Beginner. The entry cost is $10 for students and juniors and $20 for all others. Participants may enter only one division.
Divisions will be a round-robin format where players complete two games to eleven points. Competitors earn points for: (a) points earned in each game, (b) two points per game won, and (c) four points for the match winner. The winner of each division will be the individual with the most total points after round robin matches have been completed.
In the case of a large group of competitors in one division, divisions will be split into multiple groups and group winners will compete in a playoff bracket.
The deadline to register is Wednesday, February 20th at 5pm. Not late entries will be permitted.
First matches will begin at 9am. Start times will be available by 5pm on Thursday February 21st.
